The Kirin 9050 Pro utilizes a stacked architecture that bonds two logic tiers to increase density without requiring a new process node. This silicon is now used in the Mate 90 Pro Max, which starts at Rmb 9,499, and the RS model, after previously appearing only in a Rmb 19,999 tri-fold device. The entry-level Mate 90 sells for Rmb 5,999 and uses the older Kirin 9030 as part of an effort to use domestic chip designs to offset US trade restrictions.
