Gazprom Increases First Half Gas Output 3.4% to 216.55 Billion Cubic Meters

The Russian energy giant expanded its total gas extraction during the first half of 2026. Production for the six month period hit 216.55 billion cubic meters, a 3.4% increase over the same period the previous year.

Shipments to China through the Power of Siberia pipeline also rose during the first six months of the year, according to a company financial report released Friday. These volumes exceeded those recorded in the first half of 2025.
