Medical examinations have cleared personnel at a military base in Nowa Dęba who were admitted to the hospital after encountering a suspicious shipment. Tests of the package ruled out the presence of chemical, biological, or radiological (CBRN) substances, the Polish Military Police said, and two soldiers and a civilian showed no signs of poisoning. The Rzeszów Military Police unit is investigating the circumstances of the delivery, which arrived at the facility around 10:30 on September 30.

The package arrived in an envelope from Germany and reportedly contained only a postcard, according to RMF FM. The incident prompted the evacuation of 133 people from a nearby staircase and the isolation of four additional officers as a precaution. Specialist chemical-response teams were deployed to secure samples for analysis before officials dismissed the possibility of a CBRN threat.
