Former FBI agents and analysts sought reinstatement in court Thursday after being terminated for their involvement in an investigation into presidential records. The nine employees are suing Kash Patel and Attorney General Todd Blanche to recover their jobs, alleging their dismissals were unlawful acts of "political retribution" following a probe into Donald Trump’s retention of classified documents at his Florida estate. The lawsuits state that after an agent under Patel requested the case files on February 23, all nine staffers were fired days later without a chance to defend themselves.
