South Korea Ships 176,000 Tonnes of Fuel to Russia Via Sanctioned Vessels

Seven tankers conducted 14 voyages to Russia's far east in July and August to transport diesel and other oil products. South Korea shipped more than 176,000 tonnes of fuel during this period, with 112,000 tonnes delivered in August alone. This August volume accounted for 31% of the 368,000 tonnes of oil products Russia imported by sea, the highest monthly total since the full-scale invasion began. Three of the vessels involved in the shipments are under sanctions from the UK and EU.
