Heidi Levine, a freelance photographer for the Washington Post, was hospitalized with fractures after being attacked by masked settlers in the village of Abu Falah during an assault on Palestinian olive harvesters. Levine told the Committee to Protect Journalists she was kicked for at least 10 minutes, and in her own words, was kicked "probably 50 times" before her equipment was stolen. Witnesses and activists at the scene alleged the IDF provided cover for the settlers using machine guns and tear gas while they beat Levine and targeted villagers.
