Footage from the aftermath of a 2023 school shooting in Virginia has surfaced, showing a primary school student swearing at police officers. The child shot and nearly killed his teacher, Abby Zwerner, but the student was never named or charged with a crime.

Zwerner won a $10 million judgment in a civil lawsuit against school principal Ebony Parker, whose indictment on 8 felony charges was dismissed in May 2026. Parker was accused of ignoring warnings from 4 teachers that the child had a weapon. The student's mother, Deja Nicole Taylor, served less than 4 years on separate state and federal charges, while his father, Malik Ramon Ellison, has a criminal record including convictions for sexual assault and felony breaking and entering.
