Qatar to Launch Defense Production Hub With US UK and France

Minister of State for Defense Affairs Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani announced on Monday that the country is starting a project to manufacture military equipment locally. Speaking at the Global Security Forum in Doha, Al Thani stated that Qatar will soon formally announce the specific details of this new center for defense production.

The facility will be developed through partnerships with a regional ally and international partners including the US, UK, and France. These collaborations aim to provide local security protection or allow Qatar to invest directly in foreign defense companies, according to Al Thani.
