Assets in Ethereum staking climbed to an all-time high of 43.8 million ETH in the fourth quarter of 2026, marking six consecutive quarters of expansion. Despite the increase in locked assets, staking rewards fell across major protocols, with Ethereum yields dropping from 2.81% to 2.63% and Solana yields sliding from 6.38% to 5.99%.
