Acting Chief of Staff Gen. Chris LaNeve reorganized the Army's long-term planning branch to accelerate the integration of unmanned combat systems. The former Futures and Concepts Command is now the U.S. Army Futures and Autonomous Systems Command, or FASCOM, which operates in alignment with the Autonomous Warfare Command recently established by the Secretary of War.
