Members of the 72nd Mechanised Brigade were targeted with automatic fire in the village of Kutuzivka in the Kharkiv region. A Russian prisoner of war escaped from confinement, seized an assault rifle, and killed 5 Ukrainian soldiers inside the house where he had been detained. One soldier was killed in their sleep, and a member of a marine battalion was also wounded during the incident.
