Admiral Giuseppe Cavo Dragone led military representatives from all 32 NATO member states to the capital of Ukraine on Oct 6 to discuss frontline conditions with Major General Drapatyi. The delegation met with the leadership of the Ukrainian General Staff to examine military priorities and refine Allied preparedness for current and future threats while reaffiming ongoing support for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The trip marked the first official visit by the NATO Military Committee to Kyiv in 8 years and included a visit to the Wall of Remembrance of the Fallen for Ukraine. Cavo Dragone stated that Russian efforts to undermine the Alliance through sabotage, cyberattacks, and airspace violations have failed, and that Russia bears full responsibility for the behavior.
