MiniMax will release the model's open weights on Oct 23 after it already ranked fifth among open-weight models on the Vals Index. The model's Termina-Bench 4 coding score rose to 25.2% from 1% for its predecessor, and it recorded a 74% score on DeepSWE. While assessments from Zhihu noted the model produces more polished frontend designs than the GLM-5.3 Flash, the evaluator found it less efficient, often requiring two to three times more agent steps to complete tasks.
