The son of Yechiel Leiter, Israel's Ambassador to the U.S., was hospitalized last week after a car ramming attack. Neria Leiter, a soldier, remains on life support and is currently only receiving visitors of a few exceptions, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu who visited the hospital to offer comfort and support to the family.

Yechiel Leiter expressed gratitude for the strength provided by public prayers as the Jewish community enters the Simchat Torah holiday. The ambassador requested continued prayers for the recovery of his son, who is attended to by his wife and children.
