Hezbollah Fights Lebanon Probe Into 800 kg Explosives Seizure

Security forces confiscated a truck on Oct 9 carrying roughly 800 kg of explosives, nails, and metal balls destined for the Dahiyeh suburb of Beirut. Two arrested drivers, identified as Hezbollah members, told interrogators that a senior official named Sayed Sajad ordered the delivery to another high-ranking member of the organization. Member of Parliament Fouad Makhzoumi has since submitted a formal parliamentary question to the government to ensure state authority over all weapons movements.
