Visa Direct Moves USDC Stablecoin Prefunding to Commercial Production

Inyo Global has been named as the first enabler for a payment feature that allows companies to fund cross-border payouts using the USDC stablecoin. Visa Direct has transitioned this prefunding capability from a pilot phase to commercial production, allowing eligible businesses to settle international transfers in near real time.

The integration enables payment firms to manage liquidity for global transfers by utilizing digital assets to fund their payouts. This shift to commercial production moves the stablecoin-powered tool out of the testing phase and into the live payment rail for eligible commercial partners.
