John Douglas Osborne faces charges of first degree assault and battery and two counts of third degree criminal sexual conduct for an alleged 2018 sexual assault of an unconscious 23 year old woman at a residence on Sullivan's Island, South Carolina. Two other men, Patrick Bryant, the ex-fiancé of U.S. Rep. Nancy Mace, and associate Eric Bernard Bowman, were charged with voyeurism for allegedly watching and photographing the assault. Bowman also faces charges of obstruction of justice and publishing the name of a victim.
