Apple's latest home command center recognizes the faces of up to six individual users to personalize widgets and applications on a 7 inch screen. The device, running on an A18 chip, arrives November 13 and costs $299 for both tabletop and wall mounted versions. Pre-orders began Tuesday for the hub and a new Apple TV 4K, also priced at $299 and shipping November 13, as well as a $149 HomePod mini 2 that becomes available October 30.
