The AI agent Devin now creates a persistent memory graph of user preferences across sessions to improve long term collaboration. This functionality, known as Dreaming, allows the agent to refine its internal data overnight by deleting obsolete records and identifying latent patterns. In tandem with the update, Cognition is introducing an open source software standard called Agent Memory Repo to facilitate how AI tools manage and share memory.
