Aramco's fifth-route study most plausibly centers on a Saudi-Oman corridor to the Arabian Sea, bypassing both Hormuz and Red Sea exposure. The project would be capital-intensive and slow, but even a formal feasibility process could reassure markets that Riyadh is planning around repeated chokepoint disruptions.
