Interactive Brokers Adds Ethereum Staking for $900B Brokerage Base

Eligible investors can now earn compounding rewards on Ether held within their accounts through a new integration with Zerohash. This service, accessible via the Client Portal, credits earnings as additional staked tokens and allows users to retain at least 70% of the yields. The feature integrates digital asset staking directly alongside stocks, options, and futures on a single trading platform.

Interactive Brokers manages more than $900B in assets across 5.3M accounts and already supports 20 cryptocurrencies, stablecoin funding, and external wallet transfers. Staked assets are not covered by SIPC protection, and users are subject to network waiting periods when initiating withdrawals.
