This effort follows a discovery by Pavel Rabtsevich, who used Claude Code with Opus 5.5 and Fable 5.1 to write more than 1,000 scripts that parsed seven years of NASA TESS data since 2018. Rabtsevich's candidate is located 116 light-years away, is about 1.4 times the size of Earth, and orbits its star every 3.18 days. NASA has approved telescope time to verify the findings, and TESS will observe the star again from Oct 31 to Nov 26.
