A wildfire breaks out in or near SCE territory during the wind event, causing property damage and renewed scrutiny of the utility's equipment, inspection practices, and de-energization timing. This is less likely than successful prevention, but prior Woolsey and Eaton Fire allegations make any ignition in the area financially sensitive for Edison International.
