Jammed Gun Stops White Supremacist's Hindu Temple Shooting Plot

Culture6 days ago

Law enforcement in a Chicago suburb stopped a violent attack on a religious site when a suspect's firearm malfunctioned. A 19 year old man from Palatine had plotted a mass shooting at a Hindu place of worship, but police say the attempt was thwarted after his gun jammed.

The suspect is described as a "sociopathic white supremacist" and reportedly authored a white supremacy manifesto. Civil rights authorities will now review and investigate the case to evaluate the hate-motivated plot.
