A new digital asset increases the quantity of gold it represents over time by deploying underlying reserves into institutional lending markets. Paxos Labs introduced the token, called PAXGy, which is built upon more than $1.8B of issued PAX Gold (PAXG) to generate yield in gold terms rather than dollars. The asset is currently available on OKX as well as onchain platforms including Uniswap, EtherFi, 0x and X Layer.
