House Speaker Mike Johnson gave an enthusiastic “yes” when asked if he supports the Senate’s bipartisan permitting reform bill, lending the top House Republican’s backing to the Bipartisan American Affordability and Jobs Act ahead of a planned lame-duck push. His endorsement comes after House Energy and Commerce Chairman Brett Guthrie insisted on changes to the 400-page Senate package before supporting it, while the 10-member House Democratic Blue Dog Coalition has already endorsed the measure.
