Turkey Seizes Caspian Airlines Plane Over €3 Million Debt

Court enforcement officers at Istanbul Airport cleared passengers from a Boeing 737 on Monday to secure the aircraft under a judicial order. The plane, operated by Iran's Caspian Airlines, was seized due to an unpaid €3 million debt owed to the Turkish aviation services company ACM Temsil Gozetim.

The Iran Civil Aviation Organization confirmed the grounding of the aircraft, registered as EP-KPB, while it was preparing for a flight to Iran. The seizure follows a court order issued after the airline failed to settle debts for services provided at the airport on Sept 28.
