Equinor plans to purchase standardized subsea equipment early next year to tie 2 to 3 wells into the existing Stjerne installation and the Oseberg Sør platform. The project serves as an initial test to halve the time and cost from discovery to production. This effort supports a broader strategy to maintain Norwegian shelf output at 1.3M boe/d through 200 near-field exploration wells and 75 subsea developments by 2035.
