Nvidia Releases Nemotron 3.5 Bolt E4B Small Open Model for Edge AI

The company's latest addition to its open model lineup is optimized for the limited memory of mobile phones and robotics. Nemotron 3.5 Bolt E4B allows conversational agents and interactive characters to perform tool use and maintain dialogues directly on edge hardware.

Trained on Gemma 4, the model supports vision and can run on the Jetson Orin Nano 8GB, where it was demoed alongside the NVIDIA Cosmos vision model to power a Reachy Mini robot. While Nvidia lists the model as 4GB, Unsloth states it runs locally on 6GB RAM.
