Arbitrum Names Paxos USDG Ecosystem Dollar to Capture Reserve Returns

The Paxos-issued USDG stablecoin is now live on Arbitrum One, allowing the network to earn up to 100% of the returns on reserves backing the asset. Arbitrum currently holds $3.79B of stablecoins, the reserve income from which previously accrued entirely to issuers but will now be used to fund the growth of USDG and pay integrating teams. The transition includes joining the Global Dollar Network alongside partners such as Robinhood and OKX.

Day-one integrations include lending vaults on Morpho, DEX liquidity through 0xfluid, and institutional credit yield via Maple Finance, while Kraken handles on and off ramps. Stargate uses LayerZero to move USDG between chains, and Uniswap is launching support. A proposal published today asks ArbitrumDAO to designate USDG growth as a strategic objective and allocate 100M ARB to the DRIP incentive program.
