A representative for Cindy Crawford confirmed the passing of the supermodel's son to CNN after reports first emerged on TMZ. The LA County Medical Examiner reported that the 27 year old model died at a treatment facility, though officials have not yet confirmed a cause of death. Presley Gerber, the son of Crawford and Rande Gerber, fronted campaigns for Calvin Klein, Celine and Omega and walked the runway for Burberry.

Gerber had spoken publicly about his struggles with addiction and mental health, including a years long struggle with drug use and panic attacks. In a video posted last December, he described using antidepressants and Xanax to manage his condition after experiencing several personal losses.
