Zeta Acquires AI Firm Senso to Link Frontier Models

The Y Combinator-backed AI firm Senso will join Zeta Global to help brands manage their visibility within responses from platforms including Gemini, ChatGPT, and Claude. Zeta has entered an agreement to buy the engineering company to bring its technical talent and customer intelligence infrastructure in-house, facilitating deeper integration between enterprise data and frontier AI models. The deal expands Zeta's Generative Engine Optimization offering, which allows companies to track how they appear in AI-generated answers; financial terms were not disclosed.

The acquisition includes the integration of Saroop Bharwani and the Senso engineering team. Zeta is expanding its discoverability tools to target users who rely on AI agents to make purchasing decisions. The company has scheduled further announcements for its Zeta Live event on October 8.
